. Management units enable organizations to establish independent permission settings by unit and facilitate viewing and editing of schedules for specific business subsets. Each management unit is assigned to a business unit, with organizational limits of 10 management units per business unit, 500 organization-wide, and 1,500 agents per unit. Key administrative capabilities include adding new management units with configurable time zones and week start days, managing unit settings, moving units between business units, and filtering or sorting workforce management items through column sorting and search functionality. The system supports adding or removing columns, deleting units, and refreshing the management unit list to maintain current organizational structures. Users require specific Workforce Management permissions—including Add, Delete, Edit, and Search capabilities for management units—to perform these operations. Management units organize agents handling the same interactions within a business unit while allowing different management rules or permissions across units when required. Additional related features include activity code configuration, schedule planning and viewing, agent management, and work team or management unit selection within the schedule editor. The documentation supports multiple user roles including agents, administrators, developers, partners, supervisors, and support personnel, enabling organizations to implement role-based access controls aligned with their operational structure. This architecture allows administrators to efficiently manage agent assignments by adding or removing personnel from management units while maintaining organized workforce management through filtering and sorting functionality for streamlined navigation and search capabilities.
