Genesys Cloud Edge Standard v1 is configured by completing procedures in top down order: Unbox and setup Edge Standard hardware, assign an IP address to WAN port, create an external trunk for SIP service provider connection, create a WebRTC phone connection trunk, create a SIP phone connection trunk, configure a network interface for Edge, create sites, create an Edge group with a phone trunk, create a new number plan, create an outbound route, and configure 911 or other emergency numbers. Key steps include assigning an IP address, setting up SIP and WebRTC trunks, joining trunks to network interfaces, determining site topology, grouping Edges, and configuring emergency numbers. This configures Genesys Cloud Edge Standard v1 with sites, trunks, routing, and emergency calling capabilities.
