Genesys Cloud Copilot is an upcoming feature that requires specific permission assignments to enable user access. Administrators must assign three core permissions to user roles: Copilot > Message > Send (allows users to send messages to Copilot), Copilot > Message > View (enables retrieval of messages from Copilot), and Copilot > Session > View (permits access to active and historical sessions). These permissions can be assigned to custom or existing roles. Once configured, users access the Copilot icon in the upper right corner of their interface next to their profile picture to interact with the system and ask questions. For administrative functions, additional permissions include Copilot > Agent > View and Copilot > Tool > View for accessing the usage dashboard, and Copilot > Settings > View and Copilot > Settings > Edit for viewing and modifying configuration settings. Administrative permissions should be assigned only to users requiring organization-level changes to Copilot configuration.
