Genesys Cloud Function data actions integration enables execution of AWS Lambda code within the Genesys Cloud environment by creating custom actions that invoke Lambda functions. This integration allows organizations to develop custom actions with proprietary code that can be deployed throughout Genesys Cloud for multiple use cases, including making routing decisions within interaction flows in Architect, presenting information to agents through Scripts, and performing data operations. The implementation process requires reviewing prerequisites, adding the integration to the Genesys Cloud organization, creating custom actions, configuring Function settings to upload code packages, and testing data actions to verify functionality. The integration supports performance analysis through Data Actions Performance Detail and views, with documentation covering runtime support, deprecation policies, limitations, troubleshooting guidance, and common issue resolution. Users can access additional resources including object dependency information, configuration requirements, and community support for implementation questions
