Genesys Cloud enables administrators to configure ICMP ping response functionality on Edge devices deployed in BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud) Premises environments. To enable this feature, users with Telephony > Plugin > All permissions must navigate to Menu > Digital and Telephony > Telephony > Edges, select the specific Edge from the Edge Name column, access the Network Interfaces tab, choose the target interface, and toggle the "Respond to ping requests" option under the Ping section before saving the interface configuration. This capability allows Edge devices on customer-managed networks to respond to ping requests for network monitoring and diagnostic purposes.
