To edit an event based trigger, follow these steps:

1. Click Menu > Orchestration > Triggers.
2. Select the Event Based Triggers tab.
3. In the Search triggers box, enter the name of the trigger that you want to modify.
4. Click the intended trigger from the search result.
5. To edit the trigger, click the Enable Edit icon and modify the following configurations:
   • Trigger name and description
   • Workflow target
   • Conditions
   • Timing configuration
6. Click Save.

Update triggers that use supplemental schema

The supplemental schemas aren’t saved with the trigger. The Event Schema section shows only the topic schema when you reopen the trigger in a new browser session. Your conditions and their JSON Paths remain unchanged. However, the section can’t display fields under the undefined object, and a warning appears for each condition whose path it cannot find.

• To keep the current conditions, no action is needed. You can still save the trigger.
• To select more fields under the object, load the supplemental schema again. Keep a copy of your supplemental schemas so that you can reload them when you edit the trigger.
