AppFoundry reporting

AI-generated summary

Genesys Cloud's AppFoundry reporting system delivers comprehensive subscription management and billing capabilities designed for partners and resellers. The platform automates ad hoc reports on closed opportunities, including new subscriptions and amendments, triggered upon order acceptance by Genesys Finance. Subscriptions are tracked using unique seven-digit identifiers with detailed date tracking for terms, contracts, and implementation ramp periods, while product information includes APN numbers, part numbers, descriptions, pricing, and currency details. The system supports three primary billing categories—Annual Month to Month, Annual PrePay, and Month to Month—complemented by PureBridge Incentives for cloud migration. These incentives eliminate double billing, provide technical certification scholarships, offer loyalty credits, and include professional services migration assistance and competitive displacement offers. Partners receive customizable implementation periods and flexible billing structures, with all subscription changes and extensions automatically triggering amendment notifications to relevant stakeholders. Opportunity management tracks multiple pricing metrics including quantity changes, net unit prices, and extended net price variations. Detailed opportunity reports document subscription-associated opportunities with information such as opportunity name, stage progression from Qualification through Closed, offering type, assigned Customer Success Manager, sale type (direct or indirect), region, opportunity owner, country, and opportunity type (New Logo, Expansion, Cross-Sell, New Line of Business, or Migration). Account details capture comprehensive customer and partner information including account name, type, sub-type, owner, business partner relationships, licensing analyst assignment, and address. Billing periods support monthly, annual, or pre-payment options with contract signature dates and subscription term dates clearly documented. The platform includes a phone contact field for storing customer or partner numbers. Target email addresses for ad hoc reports must be properly configured in AppFoundry account properties through deal support requests in the Genesys Ascend partner portal, with users able to provide feedback through rating systems, community support, and email channels after acknowledging the privacy policy.

Series: AppFoundry

Previous suggested step: Billing and invoicing

Next suggested step: AppFoundry for resellers

AppFoundry offers ad hoc reports to AppFoundry partners and resellers to notify them of the closed opportunities. The AppFoundry partners can notify any closed opportunities of their application to their direct or indirect customers. Genesys Finance sends the trigger for the ad hoc notification as order acceptance for accepted incoming orders. You ensure that your target email address for AppFoundry ad hoc reports is properly stored within the AppFoundry account properties. You can request your AppFoundry account property settings through a deal support request in the Genesys Ascend partner portal.

Notes: Genesys sends out notifications for both new subscriptions and subscription amendments. The amendments are sent whenever there is any change in the subscription or during a subscription extension. For M2M subscriptions, each month equals a subscription amendment.
