Genesys Cloud bases permissions on tasks or job functions. To manage access control, an administrator from the Genesys Cloud organization must assign the appropriate permissions to the selected user or users. Genesys Cloud provides permissions related to division creation and management, role permissions, and configuration object permissions that allow users to move objects between divisions. Specific permissions allow actions like adding and editing divisions, granting roles to users, moving users between divisions, creating and editing groups, moving various objects like flows, campaigns, and queues between divisions, and editing business units. Key technical details include the division, role, and configuration object permissions required to perform different actions in Genesys Cloud.
