Genesys Cloud Voice usage reports provide detailed call tracking and cost allocation data designed for internal accounting and billing purposes. These reports capture comprehensive call information including SIP Call ID, Conversation ID, origin, destination, usage group, call type, direction (inbound/outbound), start time, end time, duration in seconds, and adjusted duration rounded to 6-second increments per PCV standards. Users access reports through Menu > Account > Subscription > Billing & Usage by selecting the Cloud Voice tab, choosing a date range, and downloading the report as a .csv file. Reports can be generated every 24 hours with a mandatory 24-hour waiting period between generations. The total cost is calculated by multiplying the usage rate per minute by adjusted duration in minutes, with the rate sheet applied and associated location postal code included for reference. Telco Commit program participants receive discounted rates reflected in the Usage Rate Per Minute column. Genesys Cloud resources—including agents, stand-alone phones, and call flows—are identified by unique Conversation IDs for verification and troubleshooting purposes. Organizations can calculate internal cost allocation by filtering the Direction column by Inbound and sorting by Destination to sum total costs per destination, then filtering Direction by Outbound and sorting by Origin to sum total costs per origin. This methodology enables organizations to allocate voice service expenses across internal departments or cost centers based on call direction and endpoints.
