Genesys Cloud allows adding location types beyond office buildings, such as for remote employees. You can create a location for a geographic region, add a floor named for a city, and instead of a floor plan, attach a map of the city to represent employee locations. This provides location capabilities for non-office-based employees who can't drop a pin on an office floor plan. Specific features include creating locations for regions, adding floors named for cities, and attaching city maps instead of floor plans to enable location services for remote workers.
