Add new bid group
Create bid groups to specify the agents and bidding options included in a bid. Bid groups allow you to associate agents with work plans, schedule sets, and planning groups, and you can create multiple bid groups within a single bid.
Add a new bid group
To add a new bid group, perform the following steps:
- In the Bid Overview page, click Bid Groups.
- Click New Bid Group.
- In the Settings section, perform the following steps:
- In the Bid Group Name field, enter the name for the bid group.
- In the Management Unit field, select the desired management unit.
- Click Next.
- In the Agents section, perform the following steps:
- In the Select Agents section, from the agents list, select the agents.
- Click Next.
- In the Work Plans section, depending on your selection between work plans or schedule sets, perform the following steps:
- For work plan bid:
- In the Select Work Plans section, from the work plans list, select the work plans.
- Click Next.
- For Schedule Set bid, the Work Plans and Work Plan Rotations tabs are displayed. When scheduling a schedule set bid, you can either select work plans or work plan rotations as part of a bid group and not both. The Work Plans tab is displayed by default.
- To select work plans, in the Work Plans tab, perform the following steps:
- In the Select Work Plans section, from the work plans list, select the work plans.
- The Are you sure? dialog box appears and asks you to confirm whether you want to continue with the selection of the work plan(s). Doing so replaces the existing work plan rotation. Click Yes to confirm and proceed with the selection. This dialog box appears only when you have a work plan rotation already in place and you want to replace it with the work plan(s).
- To select work plan rotations, in the Work Plan Rotations tab, perform the following steps:
- In the Select Work Plan Rotations section, from the work plans rotations list select the work plan rotations. You can select the work plan rotations that allow complete rotations for the scheduled period of your selection.
- The Are you sure? dialog box appears and asks you to confirm whether you want to continue with the selection of the work plan rotation(s). Doing so replaces the existing work plan(s). Click Yes to confirm and proceed with the selection. This dialog box appears only when you have work plan(s) already in place and you want to replace it with the work plan rotation(s).
- In the Work Plan Rotation section, click the selected work plan rotation to expand and view the corresponding work plan details.
- In the No. of agents field, enter the number of agents to be assigned to this work plan rotation. Note: The number of selected agents in the Agents panel should be equal to the sum of agents you provided in each work plan rotation.
- Click Next.
- To select work plans, in the Work Plans tab, perform the following steps:
- For work plan bid:
- In the Planning Groups section, perform the following steps:
- In the Planning Groups section, from the planning groups list, select the planning groups.
- Click Save.
You can have a mix of bid groups with work plans or work plan rotations. For work plan rotations, you can select a combination of 50 work plans. After you create a new bid group, you can continue with generating the staffing recommendation by navigating back to the bid that you were creating. For more information see, Add new bid.
