Genesys Cloud enables workitem creation through public APIs, supporting both individual and bulk operations of up to 50 workitems simultaneously. Workitems contain configurable attributes and require appropriate division permissions to perform associated actions. Users must have the necessary permissions within a workitem's containing workbin division to execute workitem operations. Currently, workitem creation is available exclusively through the public API; the Genesys Cloud user interface does not provide a workitem creation option. The platform associates workitems with divisions and permissions for access control and management purposes.
