Script templates page

AI-generated summary

Genesys Cloud's script templates page provides access to both script and component templates, requiring Scripter > Script > All permissions to access. The page displays thumbnails representing complete script templates for reuse and component templates containing individual elements like text boxes, images, and buttons. Script templates are user-specific by default, limiting access to only the creator. Users can access the templates page through Menu > Digital and Telephony > Interaction Assets > Script Templates. The system enables users to manage and delete unused templates while maintaining individual control over their created templates.

The script templates page lists templates of both script and component templates so that you can delete templates that you no longer need. Thumbnails on the script templates page represent component and script templates.

Script templates are entire scripts that you create for reuse. Use a script template when you create a new script.
Component templates contain one or more visual components that you can insert into a script page. Examples include text boxes, images, buttons, and so forth.

Note: By default, script templates are only available on a user level. This means that only the user who creates a script template can use it. Other users do not have access. For example, if user A creates a script template, only they can use it. User B cannot access a script template created by user A.

To display the script templates page, take these steps:
