Install the custom IMAP integration

AI-generated summary

Genesys Cloud's custom IMAP integration enables one-to-one connections between the platform and individual IMAP mailboxes. The installation process requires logging into Genesys Cloud, navigating to Admin > Integrations, searching for Custom IMAP Server, and completing the installation by naming the new server. Multiple mailboxes can be accessed by creating separate IMAP integrations for each mailbox, with each integration requiring individual configuration. The integration becomes available for configuration and activation through the Admin > Integrations page after installation. This functionality allows organizations to establish email connectivity between Genesys Cloud and IMAP-based email systems through a straightforward setup process.

Each IMAP integration is tied to one mailbox. For accessing multiple mailboxes through IMAP, you must set up an integration for each mailbox separately. To install the custom IMAP server integration:

Log in to Genesys Cloud org in which you want to add a custom IMAP server.
Click Menu > IT and Integrations > Integrations.
In the Search box, type Custom IMAP Server.
Click the IMAP Servercard.
Click Install.
Enter a name for the new IMAP server.

The integration is now available to configure and activate from Genesys Cloud’s Admin > Integrations page.

Next: Configure and activate the custom IMAP server integration.
