Genesys Cloud's Google data actions integration enables users to create custom actions that interact with data in Google applications, including Google Cloud, G Suite, Google Cloud Functions (1st gen), and Google Cloud Run Functions. These data actions can be leveraged throughout Genesys Cloud for multiple purposes: making routing decisions within interaction flows in Architect, presenting information to agents through Scripts, and performing other data operations. The integration provides specialized processing to simplify the use of Google Cloud Functions. Implementation requires configuring Google Cloud Platform, adding the integration, and creating custom actions. Users can view Genesys Cloud object dependencies for integrations, data actions, and flows, as well as access data actions performance details and summaries for analysis. The integration includes troubleshooting resources, testing capabilities for debugging, and comprehensive documentation covering setup procedures, requirements, concepts, and common issues.
