Genesys Cloud enables administrators to deny one or more pending or previously approved time-off requests through the time-off requests page. To deny requests, users navigate to Menu > Workforce Management > Scheduling > Time-Off Requests, select the appropriate management unit from the upper right corner, and optionally adjust the time zone for data viewing (defaulting to the business unit's time zone). Administrators can utilize filter and sort options to locate specific time-off requests, then select the corresponding checkboxes and click Deny to automatically change the request status to Denied. The system distinguishes between administrative denial and agent-initiated cancellation; only agents can cancel time-off requests, while administrators must deny requests to effectively consider them cancelled.
