Genesys Cloud's Call Task action enables users to execute and link tasks within workflow sequences. The action waits for task completion before proceeding with the flow execution. Users can name the action with a distinctive label that appears in the task sequence. The functionality includes selecting existing tasks, creating new tasks via the + button, removing tasks using the X button, and accessing task configuration through the Go to task button. The action's output path determines the subsequent flow direction once the called task finishes execution.
