Genesys Cloud allows administrators to remove BYOC Premises edges through a streamlined process when they are no longer needed. Before removal, administrators must ensure all associated site links are deleted, the edge remains powered on and online, maintains network and organizational connectivity, and is taken out of service. To remove an edge, administrators access the Edit Edge page by clicking the edge name, locate the Cloud Connectivity section in the edge information panel on the right side, click Unpair Edge, and confirm the action when prompted. Upon confirmation, the edge is immediately removed from the Genesys Cloud Edge list. This functionality requires Telephony > Plugin > All permissions to execute.
