Genesys Cloud enables administrators to manage outbound dialing attempts through customizable attempt controls. The system allows setting daily and total call attempt limits for both contact records and phone numbers to ensure compliance with local regulations. Administrators must first create an attempt controls entry and then assign it to specific contact lists. Without configured attempt controls, there are no restrictions on contact attempts, which may violate regional compliance requirements. The platform includes features to configure attempt control entries, assign controls to contact lists, and monitor scheduled recalls. This functionality helps organizations maintain regulatory compliance while managing their outbound dialing operations effectively.
