Genesys Cloud's Architect is an auto attendant designer that links predefined operations to create custom IVR functionality for managing customer interactions. Flow authors can use Architect to play audio, make and receive calls, dynamically convert text to speech, and route calls to agents, queues, voicemail, external numbers, or other flows. The platform incorporates advanced features including non-menu digit collection, data dips, conditional logic, and expression editing. Key capabilities include audio prompts, role-based permissions tied to call flow design tasks, read-only mode access, speech recognition with supported language options, language and runtime data playback support, built-in system variables, and task and state editor actions. Architect permissions are based on job functions and grant access to specific features and tasks, while read-only mode allows users to view call flows under certain conditions without editing capabilities.
