Edit location details page

AI-generated summary

Genesys Cloud's Location Details page provides configuration settings for locations that can be assigned to user profiles through the User Management menu. The page allows administrators to edit location information including photo, name, address, and notes that appear in user profiles and the directory. Key functionality includes configuring locations for telephony site integration with mandatory emergency services setup, where administrators must register a valid Emergency Number (ANI) with their phone carrier and verified address. Configuration options allow the emergency number to be used conditionally—only when no other identifying information exists, or always for all calls from phones associated with the location's site. Additional features include designating site contacts from the organization, managing floor assignments through the Add Floor option, and selecting people for location membership via the Change Membership function. The page requires that each telephony site in an organization have an associated location, and organizations using Genesys Cloud Voice must supply a valid ELIN and verified address. All changes are saved through the Save button.
