To set up Google Cloud Run Function data actions integration in Genesys Cloud, you need to set up the Google Cloud Run service account and function:

1. Set up a service account in Google Cloud and grant the service account with the Cloud Run Invoker role. For more information, see Set up the service account in the Google Cloud Run documentation.
2. To use the service account outside Google Cloud, create a service account key. For more information, see Create a service account key in the Google Cloud documentation.

   Take note of the following fields from the key JSON object:

   • client_id
   • client_email
   • private_key_id
   • private_key
3. Create a Google Cloud Run Function. For more information, see Deploy a Cloud Run function in the Google Cloud documentation.

   When you create the function:

   • Ensure that the function has the required authentication enabled using Identity and Access Management (IAM) in Google Cloud.
   • Take note of the URL of the newly created function.

Add the integration

Add an integration for each service account that you set up in Google Cloud Platform. If you want to use multiple APIs that span service accounts in Google Cloud Platform, then add a separate integration for each service account. For more information, see Add a data actions integration.

While adding the integration, use the fields that you have noted down from the JSON key object in the credentials configuration of the integration. 

Create a custom action

Create an action that can execute the Google Cloud Run Function. While creating the custom action configuration, provide the URL of the Google Cloud Run Function in the Request URL Template field.
