Set the default script page

AI-generated summary

Genesys Cloud allows users to set default script pages for multi-page agent scripts through the Admin interface. The process involves navigating to Contact Center > Scripts or Menu > Digital and Telephony > Interaction Assets > Scripts, selecting the target script, and accessing the Page section. Users can change the default page by clicking More on the desired page and selecting "Set as Default Page." The current default page is indicated by a home icon, and clicking the page name directly should be avoided. This functionality helps streamline agent workflow by controlling which script page appears first when loaded.

When your script has multiple pages, you can set one page to open by default when the script pops on an agent’s display.

Click Admin.
Under Contact Center, click Scripts.
Click Menu > Digital and Telephony > Interaction Assets > Scripts.
Click the name of the script you want to edit.

Click Page . The list of pages in that script appears. The page with the home icon is the default page.
To set a different default page, click More for the page you want to be the default, and then select Set as Default Page.
Notes:
- Do not click the name of the page.
- Home indicates the new default page.
