Genesys Cloud provides robust file search capabilities through its Documents feature, enabling users with Content Management permissions to locate files across personal and group workspaces. The search functionality allows users to find specific files by typing search terms in the Search Documents box and selecting desired workspaces, with results consolidated in a single list. Users can perform targeted searches for files with specific tags, shared files, recordings from particular callers, and files matching multiple criteria such as file type and creation date. The platform offers Views options—including All, My Documents, Shared with me, Shared by me, Shared with everyone, and Recent—to organize search results by category. Filters enable further refinement based on specific criteria such as content type and date range, with the ability to define custom date ranges. Multiple filters can be applied simultaneously to narrow results, though applying additional filters reduces the number of matching files displayed. Users can remove filters to expand results or restart searches with new search strings. The search feature automatically scans all workspaces when none are specifically selected, and displays all files within selected workspaces when no search text is entered.
