Genesys Cloud provides contact center capabilities that enable creating and managing queues to route interactions to agents. The Genesys Cloud Resource Center describes how to create queues and configure settings like after call work and wrap-up codes. To create a queue, you provide a unique name and peer ID, select a division, and can copy settings from an existing queue. After saving, you can configure the General, Members, and After Call Work tabs to set up skills-based routing, add agents, and enable features like mandatory wrap-up codes. Overall, Genesys Cloud queues allow efficient and customized routing to match each contact to the right agent.
