Genesys Cloud enables changing imported external contact records through bulk uploads. Users with the Admin role can import external contacts and organizations. Manual edits to imported records are overwritten by subsequent bulk uploads, which replace field values in a one-way sync. Bulk import is the only way to modify imported external records in Genesys Cloud.
