Genesys Cloud enables users to add contextual notes to voicemails through an Edit function within their voicemail box. Users with the Voicemail > Voicemail > Receive permission can open any voicemail, select Edit, type their note in the provided field, and click Save to attach the note to the message. Notes persist with voicemails when forwarded to other users and are automatically deleted when the associated voicemail is deleted, subject to the organization's retention policies. This feature supports enhanced voicemail management by allowing users to document additional information or context directly within the voicemail system.
