Genesys Cloud's activity plans feature enables administrators to schedule recurring and bulk activities while optimizing business targets and employee availability. The system supports scheduling events such as monthly one-on-ones, team meetings, training sessions, and annual compliance training with automatic scheduling capabilities. Session start times are restricted to 00 or 30-minute intervals. Administrators can create both recurring and ad hoc plans for large-scale events including product release training, system upgrades, town halls, and all-hands meetings. Required permissions include Workforce Management Activity Plan permissions for adding, editing, viewing, and deleting, plus specific permissions for running jobs and managing occurrence deletions. The feature requires licensing including Genesys Cloud CX 3/4, Digital, WEM Add-ons, or EX license. Plans can be executed on an ad hoc basis for future published schedules or integrated into the schedule generation process, with functionality to manage existing plans, change statuses, edit, copy, and delete occurrences while respecting business targets and service goal impacts.
