Previous Menu action

AI-generated summary

Genesys Cloud's Previous Menu action enables callers to navigate back to the prior menu within call flows. The feature functions in both menu choices and task sequences, with configurable DTMF and speech recognition settings when implemented as a menu choice. Users must assign a distinctive name to the action, which appears in the call flow structure as the action's identifier. This navigation tool enhances call flow flexibility by providing backwards movement options for callers.

Use the Previous menu action to give callers the option of transferring to the previous menu. This action can be used in menu choices and task sequences. When you use an action in a menu choice, Architect provides additional settings such as DTMF and speech recognition.
