Genesys Cloud enables agents to manage External Contact survey preferences by allowing them to mark contacts for survey opt-out during or after interactions. Agents can set survey preferences through two main methods: during active interactions via the Profile panel's Details tab, or outside interactions by editing the contact record directly. The opt-out process involves accessing the Additional Information section and selecting the "Opt out of surveys" checkbox. This functionality ensures compliance with customer preferences regarding follow-up surveys and maintains accurate contact records. The system integrates with web surveys and quality management features, allowing organizations to respect customer communication preferences while maintaining service quality tracking capabilities.
