Genesys Cloud provides an Insights and Optimizations menu within Bot Flows that enables users to measure performance and identify enhancement opportunities through a unified workspace. The menu offers access to six key components: optimization dashboard, intent miner, journey flows, bot performance reports, Virtual Agent dashboard, and flow size tracking. The optimization dashboard displays performance and operational metrics for Dialog Engine Bot Flows and Digital Bot Flows, with filtering capabilities by date range and configured language to support troubleshooting and improvement efforts. Key metrics include total bot interactions, average duration, average turns, and bot end states such as abandoned interactions, agent escalation, recognition failure, and error conditions. Users can access the Utterance History view to review user interactions and the Learning view to analyze utterances for continuous improvement. The Intent Miner feature enables extraction of intents, utterances, topics, and phrases from chat and call recordings, supporting data-driven optimization. Journey Flows visualization helps users understand customer journey milestones and flow outcomes that influence containment rates. The Bot Performance Report displays operational data including entries, durations, turns, and intents, with filtering options available based on access context. The Virtual Agent Performance dashboard monitors overall Virtual Agent performance metrics across individual agents or organization-wide aggregated data. The Interactions view shows both in-progress and completed interactions with context-specific filtering capabilities, while the Architect Flow Size view allows tracking and management of flow dimensions to support dialog scalability. Reports accessed from within specific bots display filtered data for that bot, whereas reports accessed from the Performance workspace display aggregated data across all bots or Virtual Agents. Access to these features requires specific permissions across multiple categories including Analytics, Architect, Conversation, Recording, Quality, Journey, Language Understanding, and Speech & Text Analytics. The Insights and Optimizations menu is available in both Genesys Dialog Engine Bot Flows and Genesys Digital Bot Flows, providing comprehensive visibility into virtual agent usage, dialog effectiveness, and performance metrics to optimize customer experience.
