Genesys Cloud enables users to add notes for contacts to capture and store key details within contact records. To add a note, users navigate to the Contacts tab in the External Contacts section of Directory, locate the desired contact, and click Add Note to open a text field. After typing the note content, users click Save Note to persist the information with the contact record. Notes added for contacts are visible in the Interaction History associated with that contact. This feature requires a Genesys Cloud CX 1 license and allows agents to document important information during interactions for future reference.
