Genesys Cloud requires specific permissions to publish scripts, including Scripter > Script > All, PublishedScript > Add, and PublishedScript > View. Publishing converts a draft script into a version that can be deployed in Architect call flows and outbound dialing campaigns. Scripts must be saved before publishing, as the publish option is unavailable for newly created scripts. Published scripts become accessible beyond the Scripts list for use in workflows, while unpublished drafts remain visible only within that list.
