Genesys Cloud provides an AWS S3 recording bulk actions integration that enables organizations to export recordings, screen recordings, attachments, and metadata in bulk to a configured S3 bucket. To implement this integration, users must first create IAM resources for the AWS S3 bucket, then navigate to Menu > IT and Integrations > Integrations, select the AWS S3 Recording Bulk Actions Integration, and complete the installation process by entering the S3 bucket name, configuring Role ARN credentials that grant Genesys Cloud access to the bucket, and activating the integration. Users can optionally enter a public key during configuration. After activation, administrators must create or edit a policy and enable the Export Recording with Integration permission for the integration to function within Genesys Cloud applications. Key operational considerations include: exported recordings use standard storage class; archived recordings can be exported but require extended processing time; orphan recordings are not exported unless recovered; recordings are exported only once, with duplicate exports occasionally occurring due to distributed processing; organizations can maintain only a single active instance of this integration; and if a recording is configured for both export and deletion, export occurs before deletion. The integration supports query parameters pageNumber and pageSize, with invalid values automatically converted to defaults.
