Genesys Cloud enables administrators to create and manage secondary statuses associated with primary statuses through the Status Management interface. Users with Admin role and Presence > Presence Definition – Edit permission can add up to 30 active secondary statuses per primary status by navigating to Menu > Account > Organization Settings, selecting Status Management, and clicking Add Status. Each secondary status supports up to and can be assigned to specific divisions or to all divisions by default. The process involves entering the secondary status name, selecting the target division, and saving the configuration. Multiple secondary statuses can be created sequentially for a single primary status, with deactivated statuses not counting toward the 30-status limit.
