Language support in Architect

AI-generated summary

Genesys Cloud Architect provides user interface support across 16 languages including Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Czech, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish. The platform enables creation of call flows in multiple additional languages through the Settings area, where users can select supported languages, override default speech recognition settings, and configure text-to-speech (TTS) engine and voice options. When a language is selected, Architect provides real-time feedback indicating whether the default or available third-party TTS engine supports runtime data playback, speech recognition, or TTS playback for that language. During audio sequence editing, Architect delivers immediate notifications for any languages lacking required audio or TTS resources and identifies languages that do not support runtime data playback, speech recognition, or TTS functionality. For comprehensive information regarding speech recognition, TTS, IVR system prompts, and telephony user interface support across languages, users should reference the Genesys Cloud supported languages documentation.

For information about Architect language support for speech recognition, text-to-speech (TTS), IVR system prompts, and telephony user interface (TUI), see Genesys Cloud supported languages.

You can also create call flows in many other languages. From a flow’s main page, from the Settings area you can choose supported languages, override default speech recognition settings, and select TTS engine and voice options. When you select a language, Architect returns a message if the default or available third-party text-to-speech engine does not support runtime data playback, speech recognition, or TTS playback for the selected language.

When you edit an audio sequence, Architect provides immediate feedback for any languages that are missing audio or TTS resources. Architect also indicates whether a language does not support run time data playback, speech recognition, or TTS.
