Genesys Cloud enables users to delete script templates from the templates page through a structured administrative process. Users must possess specific permissions including all permissions under Scripter > Script, Scripter > Published Script - Add, and Scripter > Published Script - View to perform this operation. The deletion workflow requires navigating to Menu > Digital and Telephony > Interaction Assets > Script Templates, selecting the target template, and clicking Delete. The system distinguishes between two template types: Script Templates, which duplicate entire scripts, and Component Templates, which inject components into script pages. Both template types can be deleted through this interface. The deletion process concludes with a confirmation dialog that users must acknowledge to complete the removal of the template from the system.
The following permissions:
All permission under Scripter > Script
Scripter > Published Script - Add
Scripter > Published Script - View
To delete a script template, follow these steps:
Click Menu > Digital and Telephony > Interaction Assets > Script Templates.

Tip: From the Templates view, you can delete either component templates or script templates. The template types, Script Templates and Component Templates, indicate whether the template duplicates an entire script or injects components into a script page.
