Format text in an email message
To format the text in email interaction messages, you can use the text formatting toolbar. Formatted text appears in the text editing field.
To format text, do one of the following:
- Select a formatting button and type your message
- Type your message first, select the text that you want to format, and then select a formatting button
Note: If you copy and paste text, simple HTML formatting remains when you paste the text into the text editing field. Use the text formatting toolbar to remove or add formatting to the pasted text.

Note: The information in the preceding table applies to outgoing messages. For inbound email messages, Genesys Cloud supports the formats listed in the Formatting column.
