Get your BYOC Premises Edge and phones up and running

This series of procedures takes the administrator from the installing the Edge to enabling a user to call with a Genesys Cloud managed phone.

Set up a BYOC Premises Edge and SIP trunks 

• Follow the specific Edge configuration for your Edge model.

Add DIDs and Extensions

• DID Numbers
• DID Assignments
• Extension Pools
• Extension Assignments

Add the phones

Find and configure your specific phone model from the following procedures:

• Configure phones

• Enable DHCP on the phone to discover the phone settings from the Edge

Enable the phones for a user

• Assign a default phone

• Turn on auto answer for agents

Send users information about making calls

• Make a call
