Digital user tracking prerequisites and permissions
AI-generated summary
Genesys Cloud's digital user tracking system operates through a comprehensive framework of permissions, requirements, and technical configurations. The platform requires Predictive Engagement functionality, specific CX licenses, and Genesys AI Experience for web/mobile event tracking. Administrator permissions encompass event viewing, outcome management, report access, segment creation, configuration settings, visit tracking, and customer record management. Agents receive focused permissions for queue management, routing, status control, and viewing functions. Technical implementation demands organization-level Predictive Engagement activation, proper licensing, Messenger deployment, and web tracking setup. The system enables real-time monitoring of customer interactions, website behavior, and business outcomes through role-based access control. Administrators can configure these permissions through the Admin panel, with changes typically requiring several minutes to activate. This structured approach ensures secure, efficient tracking of digital user interactions while maintaining appropriate access levels for different user roles.
