In a future release, Genesys Cloud will add a read-only table display mode to the main forecast. This addition enables users to view forecast values in a structured, accessible format instead of relying only on graphs. Previously, the main forecast displayed data only as a visual graph. The new table display mode presents the same forecast data in a clear, structured format while keeping the existing graph available.
This change makes forecast data easier to understand, compare, and validate by offering a clear alternative to the graph-only view. The table allows users to see exact interval-level values at a glance and compare them across days, time periods, and snapshots without relying on hover interactions. This reduces effort and the risk of misreading values while supporting more precise analysis, such as reviewing historical patterns or checking forecast assumptions. The table display mode also improves accessibility by providing a format that works better with screen readers and other assistive technologies, addressing limitations of a visual-only graph and making the main forecast values usable for a wider range of users.
What is changing
- A new table display mode displays main forecast values in a read-only, tabular format.
- Users can toggle between the graph view and the table display mode on the same screen.
- Only one view appears at a time, either the graph or the table.
What stays the same
- The existing graph view remains available and unchanged.
- The table does not allow editing and complements the graph rather than replacing it.
- The table follows established workforce engagement management (WEM) tabular design patterns for consistency.
