Genesys Cloud – Batch adjust start times for shifts and activities in the workforce management schedule editor

In a future release, Genesys Cloud will allow schedulers to adjust the start times of multiple shifts, activities, or a combination of both in workforce management’s schedule editor with a single action. 

Schedulers can select multiple shifts or activities across agents and days, then choose to move the selected items earlier or later by a specified amount of time or set them to the same start time. The system updates the start times for all selected items while preserving their durations.

Why this matters

Making the same schedule change across multiple shifts or activities can be time-consuming when each item must be edited individually. This feature helps schedulers update schedules more efficiently by applying the same start time adjustment to multiple items at once.

This improvement is especially useful when operational plans change, training schedules shift, or schedule adjustments affect multiple agents. By reducing repetitive manual edits, schedulers can update schedules more quickly while maintaining schedule accuracy.
