Genesys Cloud Voice high-cost country outbound call blocking
To reduce the occurrence of fraudulent outbound calls, Genesys Cloud Voice automatically restricts outbound calls to high-cost country destinations. These destinations appear in the table in this article.
Genesys compiled this list after performing a comprehensive analysis of call traffic patterns, identifying well-known high-cost calling destinations, and including high-cost country codes.
Notes:
- This restriction applies to all Genesys Cloud Voice customers in all supported regions.
- It is not possible for Genesys Cloud Voice customers to individually modify or alter country codes on this list. If you want to activate or deactivate calls to the high-cost country list, contact Customer Care.
- If you want to have the restriction disabled for your organization, you must open a support case. For more information, see My Support Portal.
- It is currently not possible to disable a single country code.
- Genesys reserves the right to add or remove countries to the high-cost country list without advanced notice.
